We wanted to pull together All Things Southwest in one place. Southwest Airlines has introduced many “enhancements” beginning on May 28. The list seems endless:
- Charging for checked bags
- Flight credits expire
- Assigned seats in January ’26, with charges!
- Higher credit card fees, with loss of some benefits and addition of others (luggage, seats)
- Loss of some A-List benefits
However, so far Companion Pass seems to live on with similar requirements for 2026 – Hurray!
