All Things Southwest Airlines

All things Southwest

We wanted to pull together All Things Southwest in one place. Southwest Airlines has introduced many “enhancements” beginning on May 28. The list seems endless:

  • Charging for checked bags
  • Flight credits expire
  • Assigned seats in January ’26, with charges!
  • Higher credit card fees, with loss of some benefits and addition of others (luggage, seats)
  • Loss of some A-List benefits

However, so far Companion Pass seems to live on with similar requirements for 2026 – Hurray!

Get the scoop on All Things Southwest and how to navigate the “enhancements” in our videos and articles. Find them all gathered here so you can see them together and access them easily.
